“Komen’s Medical Advisory Committee provide invaluable insight and expertise on advances in breast cancer care and they participate as faculty in our conferences,” said Linda Tantawi, CEO, Susan G. Komen-Greater NYC.

Komen’s annual Patient Navigation symposium is set for June 25, 2019. Its annual New York Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference is to be held on October 5-6, 2019.

Dr. Donna Marie Manasseh, Director of Breast Surgery at the Maimonides Breast Cancer Center, succeeds Dr. Patrick Borgen as chair of the committee.

Dr. Borgen, Chair of the Department of Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center and head of the Maimonides Breast Center at the Maimonides Cancer Center,

will stay on in the capacity of chairman emeritus.
