Each year, Prostate Cancer Foundation researchers come together to discuss the latest developments in the fight against cancer. During this 28th annual Scientific Retreat, PCF is hosting a special PCF Doctor-Patient Summit for patients, caregivers, loved ones, and anyone interested in sharing and learning more about the patient experience.

We hope you’ll join us on October 28th from 1-3pm PDT for the PCF Doctor-Patient Summit at the 28th Annual Scientific Retreat, which is VIRTUAL, FREE, and open to ALL.

Attendees can:

ADT May Offer Some Protection From COVID-19 in Men with Prostate Cancer

A PCF-funded study of men with prostate cancer in Italy suggests that men with prostate cancer who were taking ADT were 4 times less likely to be infected with the coronavirus than men who were not on ADT (androgen deprivation therapy), and 5 times less likely to die. These new findings are a game-changer and may lead to potential treatments for COVID-19, even in men without prostate cancer.
