Colette Burnett is the Founder of the Global Food Warrior movement that is intent on making Food Security possible one community, city, nation at a time. Colette is an innovator and self-made success story who, with intense personal passion, a sharp acumen for business and sheer drive to succeed, made her dream a reality. Her organization focuses on the most innovative, cost-effective, and planet-saving initiatives in agriculture to eradicate hunger, once and for all.But by 2009 she was feeling the need to fly on her own, and an eatery seemed the way to go. Her idea: a food establishment that offered gourmet items to people on the move. She opened Super Wing NY.

Just five months into operation, Super Wings NY won the title of “Best Wings in Brooklyn.” In 2011, The New York Daily News voted Super Wings as the city’s best. And, perhaps the most significant honor of all, Burnett defeated celebrity chef Bobby Flay in a Spicy Wing Throwdown on the Food Network in 2010.

In 2016, having worked for years, with youths in Nutrition and Food preparation. she became aware of a major issue with child hunger in NYC schools. This began a quest to change the local food supply. Using her expertise in banking and in business, and her love for food, Burnett forged forward with a desire to change Food Security in NYC and ultimately around the world so no child would need go hungry again. Her mission now is to change the face of agriculture and farming to one that includes youths, finance and technology working together to create a new paradigm where food for all is possible.
