The campaign highlights patients achieving lifelong goals and everyday tasks during their cancer journey
CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CURE® magazine, the nation’s leading consumer digital and print media enterprise focused on patients with cancer, launched #CanDoWithCancer social media campaign on May 1. The campaign features cancer patients accomplishing lifelong goals and completing everyday tasks.
“It’s essential to encourage cancer patients to continue to fulfill their life long dreams and aim for big goals,” said Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president of MJH Associates Inc., parent company of CURE® magazine. “We look forward to launching this campaign to continue to empower cancer patients.”
The campaign will highlight cancer patients engaging in everyday activities — such as baking a cake or playing with their children at the park — or reaching huge milestones, such as climbing a mountain or surfing huge waves. These snapshots are aimed to inspire and motivate others going through a similar situation.
To kick off the campaign, CURE® invites patients and their loved ones to share these accomplishments on their Twitter and Instagram accounts, using hashtag #CanDoWithCancer. Throughout the month of May, CURE® magazine will share these contributions to encourage participation and show the world what is possible despite a cancer diagnosis.
Submissions can include photos, videos, art work and more. Individuals may also email submissions to editor@curetoday.com. To celebrate patients’ accomplishments, follow CURE® on Twitter @cure_magazine or on Instagram @curetoday.
