Communication Goals for CRC Patients

John L. Marshall, chief, Division of Hematology/Oncology, Georgetown University Hospital, associate director, Clinical Research, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, explains the need for good patient-physician communication.

Whether you’ve just been diagnosed or you’re actively undergoing treatment, Marshall says, both you and your doctor want a positive and strong relationship.

“You are our energy,” Marshall says. “You’re why we get up in the morning.”
