We sat down with Adele Croteau, a survivor of cervical cancer from Ottawa, Canada, at I Had Cancer's "A Celebration of Shared Experiences Honoring You."

We sat down with Adele Croteau, a survivor of cervical cancer from Ottawa, Canada, at I Had Cancer's "A Celebration of Shared Experiences Honoring You." In 2008, Adele's mother passed away from ovarian cancer. In 2013, Adele was diagnosed with cervical cancer by the same doctor.

"I took comfort in knowing that I had the same care that she had," Adele says. "She had positive experiences from her care."
