Not only does she have incredible clinical intuition and ability, but she has a deep compassion and commitment to her patients that is truly unparalleled.
It’s hard to put into words what Jennifer McKenna, NP, means to me as a colleague and what she meansto our patients.
She has worked directly alongside me for more than 10 years, and we share our breast oncology practice. I can say without hesitation that our practice would fall apart if it not for Jen. She holds it all together and always knows what is going on, how to get it done and how to advocate for the patient.
Not only does she have incredible clinical intuition and ability, but she has a deep compassion and commitment to her patients that is truly unparalleled. She works tirelessly to make sure her patientshave exactly what they need, is an incredible communicator and is diligent in her follow-up and comprehensive care.
She is a strong advocate for her patients and is quick to stand up for what she believes is right when it comes to patient care and treatment. She is just the total package of a great human, a great caregiver, a great clinician and a great friend.
By the way, she is also fun, is funny, knows when to add humor to a tough situation and isn’t afraid to go to difficult emotional places with patients if she knows it’s the right thing.
Jen is incredible. I hope you will strongly consider her for the Extraordinary Healer® Award in recognition of her deep commitment to clinical care and outstanding outcomes for all patients with breast cancer. She is so deserving.
