A Teen’s Guide to Everything Cancer now in Spanish

Following the recent publication of a new, magazine-style resource for adolescents and young adults, A Teen’s Guide to Everything Cancer, is the Spanish print version now available. Todo Sobre El Cáncer: Guia Para Adolescentes may be ordered at LLS.org and a digital flipbook in Spanish is coming soon.

Being diagnosed with cancer often leads to fear and anxiety. Knowing what’s coming next and how to handle it can be calming and reassuring. The Teen’s Guide to Everything Cancer includes navigating healthcare, managing side effects, caring for hair, skin, and nails, school, mental health and body image, nutrition and movement, survivor stories, and survivorship. The Spanish version now makes this resource available to even more patients and caregivers.

LLS works to reduce barriers to care for patients and their families. Additional LLS resources for children and adolescents are also available in English and Spanish, including digital and print booklets, webcasts, videos, apps, podcasts, LLS Community, peer-to-peer support, and financial assistance, and support navigation.

Sharing these resources with your patients and their caregivers may ease the burden of locating available services on your teams, along with connecting them to the leading blood cancer organization.
