Save the date! We invite you to join CURE for our next monthly #CureConnect Tweet Chat on Thursday, March 26, at 1 p.m. EST, when we plan on discussing the effects of cancer.

Each month, we host a #CUREConnect Tweet Chat to bring together patients with cancer, survivors, advocates, caregivers & treatment providers to promote collaboration within the community. The chats take place on Twitter on the last Thursday of every month, at 1 p.m. EST.

This month, we’re chatting about the effects of cancer and all that entails. During the chat, we'll be asking the following questions:

Physical Effects: Often, cancer and its treatment can bring about effects that linger long after treatment is done. Have you experienced any physical effects that keep the memory of cancer alive?

Late Effects: Chemotherapy is an important part of treatment for many. But it can lead to the mental fog that some have called “chemo brain”. Have you experienced this?

Personal Relationships: While quality of life is commonly discussed in cancer care, treatment can take a toll on sexual health, which doesn’t get discussed as much. Has cancer impacted your relationships in this way? What advice would you like to give — or receive?

Job Impacts: How did cancer impact your career? Did you run into any issues that you had to work through with HR or your boss? What did you do as a result?

Long Term Health: Fear of recurrence and other anxiety around staying generally healthy is something that many patients deal with. Have you experienced these fears? How do you manage them?

  • Don’t forget to add #CureConnect to each response you share so others can see your tweets and chat with you too!

We'll see you on Twitter!
