While many people believe that one diet may be superior to the rest, LeVasseur found that different diets, such as the Mediterranean diet, low fat or low calorie diets, can all have similar benefits, as long as survivors are getting to the end goal of a healthier weight. It is important that survivors pick a diet that works for them and that they can follow long-term.
