A cancer diagnosis can happen so fast, it takes a lot to wrap one’s mind around it; however, Imerman Angels — a Chicago-based, global, peer-to-peer nonprofit support group – is here to help.

As a result of his own experience with testicular cancer, founder Jonny Imerman connects patients, survivors and caregivers affected by cancer with mentors who have been through similar circumstances, providing support and encouragement for all stages of the cancer journey.

Imerman discussed the highly personalized process of partnering individuals seeking cancer support with a “mentor angel”— whether they are a patient, survivor or caregiver — so that no one has to face their cancer journey alone.
