Gerry Coon

Gerry is a retired educator who was diagnosed with stage 4 metastasized adrenal carcinoma of the lungs in January 2016. After retiring from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, in 1992, Gerry became co-editor of a 20-page quarterly publication written by for and about seniors. Gerry firmly believes in the power of writing to help people overcome whatever problems life places in their way.
