It is going to be a year that multiple myeloma took you away from me. You never gave up fighting to the end. As I get ready to show our appreciation to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the doctors, nurses, family and friends for their support, you continue to be my force. Every time I am training, I think about how you would fight for others to stay alive. This is the reason to endure hiking Mount Washington with a whole team. We need to support each other to find a cure. Without events like this, it is difficult for the health care providers to do their job in saving lives.
