Why I’m Climbing for the MM4MM Team: I want to bring awareness to all the work the foundation has done to help patients and treat myeloma. I feel that climbing Machu Picchu alongside patients, providers and caregivers is an excellent way to show my support for the MMRF.
My Story: I currently work as a research and clinical nurse practitioner at Mt Sinai Hospital in the Multiple Myeloma Department. I have worked with such strong and beautiful patients and their families and I want to do my part in spreading the word as much as I can to support cancer research. I am dedicated to finding new and innovative treatments to fight myeloma to extend patient's lives so that we can continue to work towards finding a cure.
