There were many feelings that flooded my mind when my husband Sanjoy and I were included to be part of the team — elated, excited, grateful at the same time! I felt doubts that I could meet the challenges that I would face when doing the trek at Machu Picchu!

When I saw the ruins come into view, I was full of emotions! I was in tears, both feeling incredulous joy and a spiritual sense of oneness with the place. It took my breath away!

Being in Machu Picchu, surrounded by the mountains, embraced by their beauty, their vastness and their majestic power made a strong impression on my life experience.

It was great fun being with the team and I had a wonderful time getting to know some of them. I felt well taken care of whenever I needed help! Angels in hiking boots!

Moving mountains is like moving myself to meet new challenges I have never knew existed. Taking this trek to Machu Picchu to help raise more awareness and find a cure for multiple myeloma is like moving mountains.

Thank you so much to everyone who wsa part of the team and for those who organized the trip. You made our experience so unforgettable!
