Only a few days left before I jet off to Peru. I’ve been looking forward to this day for nine months! It’s such an enormous opportunity to be able to make a difference in the fight to find a cure for myeloma. For 17 years, I’ve been working with patients who are fighting myeloma, and this has become my passion. This hike for me will be inspirational, emotional and intense.

Every moment of this journey that I share with my co-workers and patients has been awe-inspiring. My patients are the reason I wake up in the morning. Having the honor to hike up Machu Picchu with my colleagues and patients means the world me, and I am ecstatic to share this experience with them!
