A mountain is defined as "a large natural elevation of the earth's surface rising abruptly from the surrounding level; a steep hill." Since Jeff's diagnosis of multiple myeloma in 2014, we have had many mountains put in our path. Despite what might seem like insurmountable mountains, Jeff and I have actually grown to love the mountains.

Climbing and hiking has put us in shape both physically and spiritually. The culmination of all our hard work happens this week at Macchu Picchu. Climbing this mountain is just one more step in our journey to show that cancer will NOT win or control our lives.

Definitely looking forward to an exciting week with a phenomenal group of fellow mountain conquerors. Let's get this started!
