Just over four years ago, my best friend’s father was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. It was a cancer that I had never heard of before, and quickly learned that it sadly had no cure.

A few months later, another friend challenged me to race an Ironman with him. Doubtful on my ability to complete it, I went to their website and discovered the MMRF was their charity partner. Four years later, I've completed two IRONMANs and participated in three events with the MMRF.

Through this amazing foundation, I've met some truly inspiring people who I now fight for. It is my goal to continue to complete challenging events to raise funds till we find a cure.
