My name is Caitlin Coover and I lost my father, Louis James DelZoppo, to multiple myeloma over three years ago. Before my father was diagnosed, I had never heard of multiple myeloma. My father fought hard for years and I admired the courage he brought everyday even when he could barely walk. When my father passed away, I promised I would help find a cure! I found out about the Iceland trek through the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation website. It feels great to be fundraising for something so close to my heart and I am so excited to bond with others who have gone through similar situations!
