I work for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) as the associate director of the Endurance Events Program, and am honored to have been a part of the development of the Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma Program since its inception in 2015.
In the 10 years that I have worked at the MMRF, I have come to know so many patients and their family members, so being a part of this team and working alongside others who are so committed to our mission to eradicate multiple myeloma is personal for me.
I have worked on over 100 MMRF marathons, triathlons, stair climbs and other events, so I am excited to finally have the opportunity to be a participant on this team. I am thrilled to walk beside so many incredible team members who are bound by a common goal and who have agreed to be part of this powerful program.
I'm so proud to be a part of MM4MM, which is demonstrating that patients are not only living longer, but are able to take on amazing experiences that they never dreamed possible when they were first diagnosed. I'm so honored to be a part of the action, alongside myeloma patients and loved ones, that is making a huge difference in terms of awareness and funds raised to fuel research!
