I definitely expected it to be warmer here than where I live, but I didn't expect the difference to be so drastic. Once you step out of the cold air conditioned van and start walking around, you are so hot! I've lived in Australia with my parents for two years, so I'm still more used to the hot climate than some. The difference, though, is that here it is super hot and dry! I’m glad we didn't go right to the canyon today, so we still have time to adjust.

The group is really amazing! We walked around and down to the river by Sedona together and I can't wait to hike the Grand Canyon with them tomorrow!
