Jacopo Bitetti

I’m a physician and an industry employee working for GSK as Global Medical Director on multiple myeloma. We are making huge progress as a company and scientific community to drive innovation in patient treatment and help improve patients’ lives, but this is not enough. We are, and will continue, working tirelessly to help patients fighting against multiple myeloma.

I was compelled to join this team because of the great work and partnership we have with MMRF and the incredible opportunity to contribute to this wonderful experience. It’s a way to show my commitment as a professional and industry representative to improve the lives of patients with multiple myeloma as well as an important opportunity to learn about patients’ perspective.

I come from a family of physicians and the dedication I’ve seen from my mum to improving patients’ lives is incredibly inspiring for me and guides the decisions I make every day.

I’m looking forward to learning from my hiking pals, sharing our experiences and learnings, while surrounded by wonderful Alaska mountains.
