Hello,
My name is Clayton Happeney, the son of a multiple myeloma patient. My father was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2008. My brother and I discussed supporting our Dad by taking on the Alaska trek and I am excited to participate. My brother climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro for the Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma (MM4MM) program on in 2017 and since then, I have considered joining the MM4MM team. I consider this trek a unique opportunity, as I have always wanted to visit Alaska, so it checks two boxes. In past years, I have fund raised multiple times through cancer walks. I participated in multiple myeloma, breast cancer and lymphoma walks. I am proud to be a part of this trek. I am looking forward to hiking with my brother and cancer patients. I know the last year has been crazy and I hope that this hike will be a turning point for the future for many years to come. It's a chance to do something that will benefit cancer patients and their families. Overall, I hope this trek will inspire other cancer patients and their families.
Sincerely
Clayton Happeney
