in 1939 and included more than 40 films and numerous television
series, including his role as Eliot Ness in ABCs The Untouchables
and more recently Unsolved Mysteries, which he hosted since
1989. Stack, treated for prostate cancer in October 2002, died May
14, 2003, at age 84 from a heart attack. His dramatic roles in films

Cindy Crawford, Sheryl Crow, Tea Leoni, and Olivia Newton-John
are donating their bras to a good cause. Forty-nine celebrity-designed
bras were recently auctioned, raising approximately $75,000 for
breast cancer research. Leoni created the auction as the honorary
chairwoman for Take-a-Hike, a program sponsored by Los Angeles-based
Expedition Inspiration.
Two-time Oscar nominee
and theater veteran Lynn Redgrave has undergone treatment
for breast cancer. Redgrave, 60, starred in films such as Georgy
Girl, Tom Jones, Shine, and Gods and Monsters.
Everyones favorite
neighbor, Fred Rogers, was scheduled to give the commencement address
at Seton Hill Universitys May 10 ceremony. Instead, the school
featured a tribute to the host and creator of the childrens
television show Mister Rogers Neighborhood, who died
Feb. 27 at age 74 of stomach cancer. Rogers received a posthumous
honorary degree from the school.
Now you can redecorate and raise money for prostate cancer research
at the same time. Luxury by Design is in its third year and
features designer furniture upholstered in mens wear fabric
by retailer Harry Rosen. Last year, celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson,
Kevin Bacon, and Jason Priestley chose furniture for the auction.
This year, stars and legends of the NHL such as Mats Sundin, Bryan
McCabe, and Don Cherry will be lending their design skills to the
fundraiser. Each item will be auctioned and can be bid on beginning
in September at www.harry-rosen.com.
